• True prayer is not about getting OUR WAY, but SURRENDERING our WILL.

Luke 22:42 AMP
[42] saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath] from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.”

• Prayer reminds us that we are Not in control and keeps us close to the ONE who IS.

Matthew 6:9-13 AMP
[9] “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. [10] ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. [11] ‘Give us this day our daily bread. [12] ‘And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. [13] ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’

• Prayer is NOT just asking but TRUSTING.

[28] Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, your faith [your personal trust and confidence in My power] is great; it will be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed from that moment.
