John 14:11-12 AMP
[11] Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed].
~ [12] I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father.

Luke 9:1-2 AMP
[1] Now Jesus called together the twelve [disciples] and gave them [the right to exercise] power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.
[2] Then He sent them out [on a brief journey] to preach the kingdom of God and to perform healing.

Luke 10:17-19 AMP
[17] The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” [18] He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like [a flash of] lightning.
~ [19] Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.

~ Do Christ Like People understand that we have AUTHORITY to FULFILL GOD’s plan THROUGH Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord?!!

Mark 4:35-41 AMP
[35] On that [same] day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us go over to the other side [of the Sea of Galilee].” [36] So leaving the crowd, they took Him with them, just as He was, in the boat. And other boats were with Him.

[37] And a fierce windstorm began to blow, and waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was already being swamped.

(37 The Sea of Galilee is famous for its sudden and severe storms, produced by winds that funnel through the passes and canyons of the surrounding hills and create severe turbulence on the water. As experienced fishermen, the disciples knew that this was an almost constant risk in their profession.)

[38] But Jesus was in the stern, asleep [with His head] on the [sailor’s leather] cushion. And they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are about to die?”

~[39] And He got up and [sternly] rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still (muzzled)!” And the wind died down [as if it had grown weary] and there was [at once] a great calm [a perfect peacefulness].

[40] Jesus said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith and confidence [in Me]?” [41] They were filled with great fear, and said to each other, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

~ There is NOTHING that JESUS can NOT do to fulfill GOD’s plan!!

Philippians 4:4-9 AMP
[4] Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! [5] Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. [6] Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. [7] And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
~[8] Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. [9] The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.
~ What do we THINK about? GOD or the world?

MOSES

Moses writes genesis, a book of beginnings, to tell us how God creates the world, how sin comes into the world, and how God loves mankind in spite of his sin.  He reports exciting stories about Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph, how God cares for them and stands beside them, no matter what they do.  As you read this book, think about how God enters into a personal relationship with you, cares for you, wants you to make serving him a priority in your life.

1 Samuel 1:11-28 AMP
[11] She made a vow, saying, “O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction (suffering) of Your maidservant and remember, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life; a razor shall never touch his head.” [12] Now it happened as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli was watching her mouth. [13] Hannah was speaking in her heart (mind); only her lips were moving, and her voice was not heard, so Eli thought she was drunk. [14] Eli said to her, “How long will you make yourself drunk? Get rid of your wine.” [15] But Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman with a despairing spirit. I have not been drinking wine or any intoxicating drink, but I have poured out my soul before the LORD. [16] Do not regard your maidservant as a wicked and worthless woman, for I have spoken until now out of my great concern and [bitter] provocation.” [17] Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of Him.” [18] Hannah said, “Let your maidservant find grace and favor in your sight.” So the woman went on her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad. [19] The family got up early the next morning, worshiped before the LORD, and returned to their home in Ramah. Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her [prayer]. [20] It came about in due time, after Hannah had conceived, that she gave birth to a son; she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.” [21] Then the man Elkanah and all his household went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice and pay his vow. [22] But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “I will not go up until the child is weaned; and then I will bring him, so that he may appear before the LORD and remain there as long as he lives.” [23] Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems best to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish and confirm His word.” So the woman remained [behind] and nursed her son until she weaned him. [24] Now when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, along with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour, and a leather bottle of wine [to pour over the burnt offering for a sweet fragrance], and she brought Samuel to the LORD’S house in Shiloh, although the child was young. [25] Then they slaughtered the bull, and brought the child to Eli. [26] Hannah said, “Oh, my lord! As [surely as] your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood beside you here, praying to the LORD. [27] For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my request which I asked of Him. [28] Therefore I have also dedicated him to the LORD; as long as he lives he is dedicated to the LORD.” And they worshiped the LORD there.

1 Samuel 2:1-11,21 AMP
[1] Hannah prayed and said, “My heart rejoices and triumphs in the LORD; My horn (strength) is lifted up in the LORD, My mouth has opened wide [to speak boldly] against my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation. [2] “There is no one holy like the LORD, There is no one besides You, There is no Rock like our God. [3] “Do not go on boasting so very proudly, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the LORD is a God of knowledge, And by Him actions are weighed (examined). [4] “The bows of the mighty are broken, But those who have stumbled equip themselves with strength. [5] “Those who were full hire themselves out for bread, But those who were hungry cease [to hunger]. Even the barren [woman] gives birth to seven, But she who has many children withers away. [6] “The LORD puts to death and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol (the grave) and raises up [from the grave]. [7] “The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and He lifts up. [8] “He raises up the poor from the dust, He lifts up the needy from the ash heap To make them sit with nobles, And inherit a seat of honor and glory; For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, And He set the land on them. [9] “He guards the feet of His godly (faithful) ones, But the wicked ones are silenced and perish in darkness; For a man shall not prevail by might. [10] “The adversaries of the LORD will be broken to pieces; He will thunder against them in the heavens, The LORD will judge the ends of the earth; And He will give strength to His king, And will exalt the horn (strength) of His anointed.” [11] Elkanah [and his wife Hannah] returned to Ramah to his house. But the child [Samuel] served the LORD under the guidance of Eli the priest.
[21] And [the time came when] the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. And the boy Samuel grew before the LORD.

Mark 11:22-24 AMP
[22] Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. [23] I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’
and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will].
[24] For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.

~ 23 Jesus used this moment to emphasize to the disciples that a person’s confident, abiding faith combined with God’s power can produce absolutely amazing results, if the request is in harmony with God’s will. God is fully capable of doing that which man regards as impossible.

1 Corinthians 10:12-15 AMP
[12] Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. [13] No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word-He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]. [14] Therefore, my beloved, run [keep far, far away] from [any sort of] idolatry [and that includes loving anything more than God, or participating in anything that leads to sin and enslaves the soul]. [15] I am speaking as to wise and sensible people; judge [carefully and thoughtfully consider] for yourselves what I say.

Hebrews 4:13-16 AMP
[13] And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account. [14] Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior].
•[15] For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.
[16] Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].

•Jesus KNOWS what we are going through. He has already been in our place in His HUMAN form. He is READY and WILLING to help US!!

John 6:26-40 AMP
[26] Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, you have been searching for Me, not because you saw the signs (attesting miracles), but because you ate the loaves and were filled. [27] Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures [and leads] to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you; for God the Father has authorized Him and put His seal on Him.” [28] Then they asked Him, “What are we to do, so that we may habitually be doing the works of God?” [29] Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.” [30] So they said to Him, “What sign (attesting miracle) will You do that we may see it and believe You? What [supernatural] work will You do [as proof]? [31] Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written [in Scripture], ‘HE GAVE THEM BREAD OUT OF HEAVEN TO EAT.'” [32] Then Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. [33] For the Bread of God is He who comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” [34] Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
•[35] Jesus replied to them, “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually].
[36] But as I told you, you have seen Me and still you do not believe. [37] All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me]. [38] For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me. [39] This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but that I [give new life and] raise it up at the last day.
•[40] For this is My Father’s will and purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him [as Savior] will have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.”

Hebrews 6:9-19 AMP
[9] But, beloved, even though we speak to you in this way, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and of things that accompany salvation. [10] For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His name in ministering to [the needs of] the saints (God’s people), as you do. [11] And we desire for each one of you to show the same diligence [all the way through] so as to realize and enjoy the full assurance of hope until the end, [12] so that you will not be [spiritually] sluggish, but [will instead be] imitators of those who through faith [lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power] and by patient endurance [even when suffering] are [now] inheriting the promises. [13] For when God made the promise to Abraham, He swore [an oath] by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, [14] saying, “I WILL SURELY BLESS YOU AND I WILL SURELY MULTIPLY YOU.” [15] And so, having patiently waited, he realized the promise [in the miraculous birth of Isaac, as a pledge of what was to come from God]. [16] Indeed men swear [an oath] by one greater than themselves, and with them [in all disputes] the oath serves as confirmation [of what has been said] and is an end of the dispute. [17] In the same way God, in His desire to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable nature of His purpose, intervened and guaranteed it with an oath, [18] so that by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge would have strong encouragement and indwelling strength to hold tightly to the hope set before us.
~[19] This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]-a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells],

hope
/hōp/

noun
noun: hope; plural noun: hopes
1. a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

a person or thing that may help or save someone.

grounds for believing that something good may happen.

2.
ARCHAIC
a feeling of trust.

want something to happen or be the case.

intend if possible to do something.

“Hope” is commonly used to mean a wish : its strength is the strength of the person’s desire. But in the Bible hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness.
~ Sometimes all we have is HOPE. Are we placing our hope in the right PERSON?
HOPE should be placed in GOD through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord!!

Philippians 1:1-11 AMP
[1] Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed), To all the saints (God’s people) in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, including the overseers and deacons: [2] Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. [3] I thank my God in every remembrance of you, [4] always offering every prayer of mine with joy [and with specific requests] for all of you, [5] [thanking God] for your participation and partnership [both your comforting fellowship and gracious contributions] in [advancing] the good news [regarding salvation] from the first day [you heard it] until now. [6] I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. [7] It is right for me to feel this way about you, because [you have me in your heart as] I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the good news [regarding salvation], all of you share in [His matchless] grace with me. [8] For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus [whose great love fills me]. [9] And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, [10] so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; [11] filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized].

~ Christ Like People must PRAY for each other in order ENCOURAGE one another in the spread of The Gospel; Good News of Salvation. To ENCOURAGE a more IN DEPTH Relationship with God through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!
