THOUGHT OF THE DAY

June 1,2020

Faith and hope are defined in the dictionary as follows; Faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing or a belief not based on proof and
Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation or desire.
Faith says it is so NOW,
and
Hope says in the future it could happen.

HOPE:
Psalm 146:5 AMP
[5] How blessed and graciously favored is he whose help is the God of Jacob (Israel), Whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Titus 1:2 AMP
[2] based on the hope and divine guarantee of eternal life, [the life] which God, who is ever truthful and without deceit, promised before the ages of time began,

FAITH:
Romans 10:17 AMP
[17] So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

Matthew 21:21 AMP
[21] Jesus replied to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have faith [personal trust and confidence in Me] and do not doubt or allow yourself to be drawn in two directions, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen [if God wills it].
