2 Corinthians 12:7-9 AMP
[7] Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me-to keep me from exalting myself! [8] Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; [9] but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough-always available-regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.

Galatians 5:22-25 AMP

Jesus is the Great “I Am”.

Matthew 11:29-30 AMP
[29] Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple],
•*• for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST (renewal, blessed quiet) FOR YOUR SOULS. [30] For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”

John 6:35 AMP
[35] Jesus replied to them, “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually].

•*•[35 Jesus uses the words “I am” over twenty times in the Gospel of John. [14] If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.

•*•[Acting as Jesus’ representative means that the person calling on His name is in a close relationship with Him and wants what He wants.]

Philippians 4:5-6 AMP
[5] Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. [6] Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
