Psalm 51 10

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

April 22,2020
Proverbs 17:22 AMP
[22] A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.

Psalm 51:10-12 AMP
[10] Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me. [11] Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. [12] Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.

Matthew 3:8 AMP
[8] So produce fruit that is consistent with repentance [demonstrating new behavior that proves a change of heart, and a conscious decision to turn away from sin];

Matthew 6:20-21 AMP
[20] But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; [21] for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.

•When God looks into our hearts – what does He see?

Psalm 136:23 AMP
[23] Who [faithfully] remembered us in our lowly condition, For His lovingkindness endures forever;

Psalm 138:6 AMP
[6] Though the LORD is exalted, He regards the lowly [and invites them into His fellowship]; But the proud and haughty He knows from a distance.

Matthew 5:3 AMP
[3] “Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].

Matthew 5:5-6 AMP
[5] “Blessed [inwardly peaceful, spiritually secure, worthy of respect] are the gentle [the kind-hearted, the sweet-spirited, the self-controlled], for they will inherit the earth. [6] “Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.

Luke 1:46-56 AMP
[46] And Mary said, “My soul magnifies and exalts the Lord, [47] And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. [48] “For He has looked [with loving care] on the humble state of His maidservant; For behold, from now on all generations will count me blessed and happy and favored by God! [49] “For He who is mighty has done great things for me; And holy is His name [to be worshiped in His purity, majesty, and glory]. [50] “AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TOWARD THOSE WHO [stand in great awe of God and] FEAR HIM. FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION. [51] “He has done mighty deeds with His [powerful] arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart. [52] “He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And exalted those who were humble. [53] “HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS; And sent the rich away empty-handed. [54] “He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy, [55] Just as He promised to our fathers, To Abraham and to his descendants forever.” [56] And Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months, and then returned to her home.

•From a human point of view Mary had “bragging rights”.
From Mary’s point of view; she was “a lowly servant of God” who was blessed by God and to be used by God to advance His Kingdom!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

1 Peter 4:1-11 AMP
[1] Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh [and died for us], arm yourselves [like warriors] with the same purpose [being willing to suffer for doing what is right and pleasing God], because whoever has suffered in the flesh [being like-minded with Christ] is done with [intentional] sin [having stopped pleasing the world], [2] so that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living for human appetites and desires, but [lives] for the will and purpose of God. [3] For the time already past is [more than] enough for doing what the [unsaved] Gentiles like to do-living [unrestrained as you have done] in a course of [shameless] sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries. [4] In [connection with] all this, they [the unbelievers] are resentful and surprised that you do not [think like them, value their values and] run [hand in hand] with them into the same excesses of dissipation and immoral freedom, and they criticize and abuse and ridicule you and make fun of your values. [5] But they will [have to] give an account to Him who is ready to judge and pass sentence on the living and the dead. [6] For this is why the good news [of salvation] was preached [in their lifetimes] even to those who are dead, that though they were judged in the flesh as men are, they may live in the spirit according to [the will and purpose of] God. [7] The end and culmination of all things is near. Therefore, be sound-minded and self-controlled for the purpose of prayer [staying balanced and focused on the things of God so that your communication will be clear, reasonable, specific and pleasing to Him.] [8] Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. [9] Be hospitable to one another without complaint. [10] Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. [11] Whoever speaks [to the congregation], is to do so as one who speaks the oracles (utterances, the very words) of God. Whoever serves [the congregation] is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God [abundantly] supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified [honored and magnified] through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Thoughts From Senior Pastor Bob

Good evening to all on this remembrance Sunday. It was 25 years ago this very day when that horrible tragedy unfolded in Oklahoma City. It showed the worst of man and yet the best of mankind that day. I as a Man of God still pray for peace for all souls involved that day. Those that went home to our Lord as well as all the workers and yes even the ones who made it happen . We are ALL Children of Our Most High God even though we mess up(sometimes terribly).

On  this Sunday I invite all to call in to our live service and learn how we are all children as well as messengers for Our Lord God thru his son Jesus Christ even though we sometimes don’ realize that we are messengers for him.

at 8pm eastern time in the USA simply dial 774 220 4000 and when asked just enter conference number 842646#. You will believe in service with us. May God Bless You All.

Numbers 6:25-26 AMP
[25] The LORD make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; [26] The LORD lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

Jeremiah 29:11-13 AMP
[11] For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. [12] Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. [13] Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Matthew 6:33 AMP
[33] But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right-the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

BIBLE VERSES FOR DAILY LIFE (CONTINUE) PERSONAL GUIDELINES (CONTINUE)

HUMILITY (PRIDE)

MICAH 6:8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to live mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Psalm 25:9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

1 Peter 5:5,6 Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. ” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Luke 18:14 Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

WORLDLINESS

1John 2:15,16 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world–the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does–comes not from the Father but from the world.

Colossians 3:5.8,9 Put to death whatever belongs to your earthly nature; sexual immorality, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry………Rid yourselves of all such things as these; anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off you old self with its practices.

Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

GODLINESS (RIGHTEOUSNESS)

Galatians 5:22,23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

Ephesians 4: 22-24 You were taught…. to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

1 Peter 1:15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

1 John 4 8

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

April 17,2020
1 Corinthians 13:1-13 AMP
[1] If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. [2] And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing. [3] If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. [4] Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. [5] It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. [6] It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. [7] Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. [8] Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. [9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]. [10] But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. [11] When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. [12] For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. [13] And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.

John 13:34-35 AMP
[34] I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. [35] By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”

John 14:15 AMP
[15] “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.

“Do not morn for me. Instead REJOICE with me that I am in the Presence of the Heavenly Father and my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.”

Revelation 21:4 AMP
[4] and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”

•These are a few of Julia’s favorite scriptures:

John 14:1-6 AMP
[1] “Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me. [2] In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. [4] And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.” [5] Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way?” [6] Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 14 6
Galatians 5:22-23 AMP
[22] But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

John 15 5

John 15:4-5 AMP
[4] Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me. [5] I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

Mark 10:14-16 AMP
[14] But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and He said to them, “Allow the children to come to Me; do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. [15] I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” [16] And He took the children [one by one] in His arms and blessed them [with kind, encouraging words], placing His hands on them.

Revelation 3:20-21 AMP
[20] Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me. [21] He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant to him [the privilege] to sit beside Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down beside My Father on His throne.

behold i knock
