Psalm 119:1 AMP
[1] How blessed and favored by God are those whose way is blameless [those with personal integrity, the upright, the guileless], Who walk in the law [and who are guided by the precepts and revealed will] of the LORD.

Proverbs 4:18 AMP
[18] But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day.

2 Kings 23:3 AMP
[3] The king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD and to keep His commandments, His testimonies, and His statutes with all his heart and soul, to confirm the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people entered into the covenant.

Matthew 7:13-14 AMP
[13] “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it. [14] But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.

On which path do we walk?

Isaiah 55:9-11 AMP
[9] “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts higher than your thoughts. [10] “For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth, Making it bear and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, [11] So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

God knows what He is doing and saying. We must listen to God!!!

Romans 6:23 AMP
[23] For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-10 AMP
[8] For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; [9] not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. [10] For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above-spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

Grace: Unearned and unconditional favor!!!

Matthew 20:26-28 AMP
[26] It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, [27] and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your [willing and humble] slave; [28] just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [paying the price to set them free from the penalty of sin].”

Colossians 3:23-24 AMP
[23] Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, [24] knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve.

We need to be willing to serve without expectation of recognition or praise.
Serve as if we are serving Jesus Himself!

Proverbs 12:22 AMP
[22] Lying lips are extremely disgusting to the LORD, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.

Matthew 5:37 AMP
[37] But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’ [a firm yes or no]; anything more than that comes from the evil one.

James 5:12 AMP
[12] But above all, my fellow believers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but let your yes be [a truthful] yes, and your no be [a truthful] no, so that you may not fall under judgment.

Christ like people must speak and live honesty so those around us will see a difference in our lives and want to know why!!!

Isaiah 26:3-4 AMP
[3] “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You-in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. [4] “Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Micah 6:8 AMP
[8] He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?

A Kingdom concept to live and exhibit each moment of our lives!!!

1 Thessalonians 5:14-28 AMP
[14] We [earnestly] urge you, believers, admonish those who are out of line [the undisciplined, the unruly, the disorderly], encourage the timid [who lack spiritual courage], help the [spiritually] weak, be very patient with everyone [always controlling your temper]. [15] See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek that which is good for one another and for all people. [16] Rejoice always and delight in your faith; [17] be unceasing and persistent in prayer; [18] in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. [19] Do not quench [subdue, or be unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit. [20] Do not scorn or reject gifts of prophecy or prophecies [spoken revelations-words of instruction or exhortation or warning]. [21] But test all things carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. Hold firmly to that which is good. [22] Abstain from every form of evil [withdraw and keep away from it]. [23] Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged-consecrated to Him-set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. [24] Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. [25] Brothers and sisters, pray for us.
[26] Greet all the believers with a holy kiss [as brothers and sisters in God’s family].
[27] I solemnly charge you by the Lord to have this letter read before all the congregation. [28] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Power:
Matthew 28:18 AMP
[18] Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

We have power from Jesus!!!

Luke 9:1-6 AMP
[1] Now Jesus called together the twelve [disciples] and gave them [the right to exercise] power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. [2] Then He sent them out [on a brief journey] to preach the kingdom of God and to perform healing. [3] And He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey [that might encumber you]-neither a walking stick, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not even have two tunics apiece. [4] Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that city [to go to another]. [5] And as for all those who do not welcome you, when you leave that city, shake the dust off your feet [breaking all ties with them] as a testimony against them [that they rejected My message].” [6] So they began going from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing the sick everywhere.

John 14:11-15 AMP
[11] Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed]. [12] I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. [13] And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. [14] If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it. [15] “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.

Purpose:

Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:

Jesus has given us an assignment to do as we go about our lives!

Acts 1:7-8 AMP
[7] He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority. [8] But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

Presents:
Jesus promised to be with us!!!

Matthew 28:20 AMP
[20] …”and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually-regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

We limit ourselves and God when we loose sight of these promises!!!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

John 3:18-21 AMP
[18] Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. [19] This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. [20] For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned. [21] But whoever practices truth [and does what is right-morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are-accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”

Matthew 5:15-16 KJV
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Philippians 2:5-15 AMP
[5] Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility], [6] who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes-the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it]; [7] but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man]. [8] After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross. [9] For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, [10] so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father. [12] So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. [13] For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. [14] Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], [15] so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness],

Let our Christ Like Light Shine!!!
