FORGIVENESS (REPENTANCE)
Psalm 32:5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord” — and you forgave the guilt of my sin.
1 JOHN 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
GOD’S LOVE
1 JOHN4:9 This is low God shows his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
SALVATION
ROMANS 10:9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him for the dead you will be saved.
ACTS 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
EPHESIANS 2:8,9 It is by grace you have been saved, through faith –and this not from yourselves, its the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.
WORSHIP
HEBREWS 13:15 Through Jesus let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise–the fruit of lips that confess his name.
PSALM 29:2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
JOHN 4:23,24…. true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the spirit and in truth.
GUIDANCE
PSALM 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground
JOHN 16:13 When he, the Spirit of truth, comes he will guide you into all truth.
OBEDIENCE
MATTHEW 12:50 Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.
LUKE 11:28 Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it.
JOHN14:15 If you love me, you will obey what I command.
