This morning I woke to the news of another school shooting. This song says in words all the emotions I feel when I think of the storm that rolls over our world today. Please pray with us for the children and their families and don’t forget to praise the One who takes us through this storm.
Tonight we talked about that shortest verse in the Bible: “Jesus wept.” (John 11:35). The question was asked “Why?”
Tonight Cheryl led us in a further study of Eve and there were many thought provoking discussions centered around her story.

At the Wednesday night discussion time, the question was asked “Which person in the Bible gave the most and received the most?” There are many answers to this question, but this is one of them. As a young girl, Mary gave much to become the mother of the Messiah, and ultimately she had to stand by and watch as her precious son gave His life. But what she gained was an incomparable gift!
We had a very interesting lesson tonight! The discussion took a bit of a detour that led to an unexpected destination:
Sadly there is no recording of the Ladies Night this week. We talked about the First Lady of the Bible, Eve. She is definitely worth a second look and it was an interesting study. (Genesis chapters 1-3)
